You are invited! Join me and fellow friends of WABE Public Radio on an unforgettable journey through Portugal and Spain—a region that has long inspired my deep love of Flamenco, music, languages, and the rich cultures of the Iberian Peninsula.
Together, we'll explore the history, cuisine, and vibrant spirit of ancient Iberia. We'll walk in the footsteps of artistic legends like Picasso, Dalí, and Goya, and discover the enduring legacy of the Moors through architectural treasures like the breathtaking Alhambra. Beyond the sights, we will experience the raw passion of live Flamenco and be moved by the soulful sounds of Fado.
Along the way, we'll enjoy private museum tours, savor unforgettable regional cuisine paired with mouthwatering local wines, and immerse ourselves in the everyday traditions that make this part of the world so captivating.

Meet your guide Aurélien
Aurélien is one of Earthbound Expeditions finest European based guides. His passion for wine, gardens, food, culture and history is contagious for all who have the pleasure to travel with him. He is fluent in Spanish (his mother is from Nicaragua), English and French (his father is from France). Aurélien has guided tailor-made expeditions for over 20 years and continues to love sharing his knowledge with all. Aurélien lives in Arles, France with his wife and two young children.
